Using Power Wisely: Mapping a System You Care About to See Your Potential Influence
What do you think needs to change? Do you know where to start? This workshop begins with thing you have already done – and focuses on a system you know a lot about – your community, your school, your neighbourhood, or your economic field. Then you get the chance to map a system with linkages and feedback loops using a physical model process (think modelling clay and Lego bricks – but there is no limit). This process does not require a robust understanding of systems analysis or artistic construction but often reveals an idea for action stemming from the initial question. This is a great way to start a project if you are looking to make a change in the wider world or in your life or to tackle a conflict or opportunity within an organization.
