A Journey of Integrity – Building a Community Mindset by Leading through Compassion, Empathy, Collaboration and Networks

Join Dr. Theresa Southam and Michelle Perren (MAL) as they guide you through Nancer Ballard’s (2019) Journey of Integrity. Change leaders are invited to participate in self-exploration of their values using experiential, trauma-informed, arts-based and storytelling approaches. We will explore a reflective and relational approach to problem-solving to take a closer look at their underlying desires and motivations and move towards insight through self-awareness and community dialogue. We will use liberating structures to explore and share our creative change frames through journal writing, collaging, and other arts-based approaches. We will support each other in acting or speaking out, regardless of the consequences, because of our commitments to land, spirit, and our intergenerational responsibilities—letting the chips fall where they may. Participants leave with a record their journey and the possibility of communities of practice to explore other journey models.
