Dan McNeill is a service designer, educator, and facilitator working at the intersection of empathy and community, with experience supporting youth through community health, housing, and harm reduction services and programming in Cree and W̱SÁNEĆ territory. He teaches Design Thinking at Royal Roads University and has lead co-design, empathy-based user research, including youth-focused design projects in Sooke, alongside designing experiential learning journeys across Latin America.

You will join a diverse group of Westshore students to build real connections through hands-on practice. In this session, you’ll conduct empathy interviews with your peers and use the co-razonar process to think together with the heart. Together, we will map out youth perspectives to create a tangible cartography of our community—a map that will directly shape future leadership initiatives in the Westshore and beyond.
